TLC Services Pet & Plant Care While You’re Away

Here are some businesses that don't have web sites (yet!) but we recommend them whole-heartedly! Stop by and tell them Aunt Elizabeth sent you - my current clients know that I will badger you until you actually visit each and every one!

Animal Hospital of Colorado 1721 W. Harmony Rd. Fort Collins, CO 80526 (970) 267-9333

Arfy's Mercantile for Dogs & Cats 2601 S. Lemay Ave, Ft. Collins (in Scotch Pines Village on Drake) Funny and friendly, Laura, Cyndy and "Ms. Lulu" bake 10(+) varieties of all natural dog treats with tons of love, daily. Check out their wholesome foods and cutting edge gear. Get Fifi and Fido on the mailing list, since there's always something new and creative happening at Arfy's, that THEY need to know about! You'll chuckle just by showing up and browsing...and your four footed companions will thank you for letting them pick out some very original loot (topped off with a peanut butter pussycat, perhaps, or a liver yum-yum?)!

Doggie Dips and Chips. 265C East 29th St., Loveland, CO. (in Orchard Center)
Darling Sandy Fifer is the first "dog person" Aunt Ellie met when she came to Loveland, and I have promoted her ever since. This gourmet dog bakery (my dogs live for Bubba's Cheddar Garlic Chips) and cute, efficient dog wash complete with savory shampoo "flavors" for your picky pooch, will make your bathing experience a virtual dream rather than the proverbial nightmare! Recently remodeled to offer even more unique merchandise and services, Doggie Dips also features a reading area so you can keep up with the latest canine books and news! Get a punch card for free washes or treats and, more importantly, don't leave without lovin' on Sandy's "assistants" - her golden retrievers - who help run this top notch dog destination!

Invisible Fence. Prime Services Inc., 308 Mae St., Ft. Collins, CO.
Although Aunt Elizabeth teaches effective yard perimeter tools, I stress that I am no match for nature! Call Doug and Carol for a great, humane alternative for those whose (escape artist)canines wander or stray from home. A literal lifesaver at: (970)223-8354 or toll free 1-877-966-8354!

Town and Country Pet Center. 130 S. Cleveland Ave., Loveland, CO.
Listed last only due to alphabet - this is the oldest pet store (circa 1974) in Loveland for a REASON! Town and Country continues to offer a variety of exceptionally special puppies (kittens, fish, reptiles, birds, ferrets), all patiently waiting to find a home with your family! Consistently great supplies and very knowledgeable service (ask for Mark - a wealth of info), make this shop a virtual Loveland institution...a "must see". Stop by to check out what's new - and I bet you can't leave without a new "baby"...or TWO!
